Bill Prater

Bill is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Leriot LLC, a business development company headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. Leriot assists its client companies in reaching ever increasing levels of profitability and cash flow through its systems, workshops and hands-on services.

He co-founded Consolidation Partners LLC a firm dedicated to providing advisory services to companies seeking an industry roll-up strategy. The company typically uses its proprietary Partnership Roll-up™ model which is designed to significantly reduce capital requirements while increasing success probabilities.

He has over 30 years experience in business development, finance, management, marketing and sales. For 18 years he was CEO of his own investment-banking firm, where he enhanced stakeholder value in sixty companies. He has hands-on experience with start-ups and mature organizations across diverse industries including, biomedical laboratories, high technology, internet, energy, retail, communications, banking and finance, distribution, manufacturing, consumer products and real estate.

Prior to Leriot, he was a Senior Consultant for Management Action Programs (MAP). As a Workshop Leader and a member of the Board of Directors, he provided leadership to numerous businesses; designed strategic and tactical plans; served as interim management; and recruited senior executive staffs, board members and other key personnel.

He has structured, advised and financed corporations, joint ventures, partnerships, leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, mergers and divestitures. In all, he has raised over $600 million as an investment banker. He recruited, trained and led more than one hundred sales professionals in achieving average revenue growth of 100% annually.

While at IBM, he excelled in sales, sales training and sales management and achieved a cumulative 1000% of sales quota in less time than anyone in company history.

He has served on the Board of Directors of a number of private companies as well as not-for-profit organizations, including the Boys’ and Girls’ Club. He was licensed as a registered principle with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Washington.
